Maryland native, Coach Chriss finished a stand-out high school career at St. John's College High School in Washington, DC and averaged 17.2 points per game, 6.9 rebounds and 5.4 assists as a Cadet. She made winning a habit winning three City Title championships, and finishing her career as a Gatorade Player of the Year, McDonald's All-American, Nike 3rd-Team All-American, 1st Team All-Metropolitan, and 1st Team All-WCAC. Coach Chriss extended her career becoming a Virginia Tech Hokie. The Hokies were invited to the NCAA tournament and advanced past the first round each year she played . She led her team in scoring her Junior and Senior year and ended her college career scoring over 1,000 points. After college, she continued on to play professionally in Clermont Ferrand, France from 2006 to 2007. She is an Assistant Coach at the Academy of the Holy Cross for both JV and Varsity, and assisted in guiding the JV team to a WCAC Junior Varsity Championship.
